Sampling equipment includes a field sampling probe and rugged handheld computer that automatically stores the temperature and oxygen samples in the field. The data is then downloaded directly to the Windrow Manager desktop software, eliminating the need for writing and data entry. Probes are available for sampling temperature and oxygen, or temperature only.
GMT has made improvements to the sampling probe to make it easier to use and more robust in the field. The new probe has a two sturdy handle grips to make insertion and carrying the probe more convenient. Oxygen models use a new hydrophobic filter design, which protects the O2 sensor and reduces the chance of sensor failure.
