WIRELESS PROBE SYSTEM
Monitor your compost piles remotely using GMT’s Wireless Probes and tracking technology. Wireless Probes automate the data collection process, sending records to either a custom secure web page (WebMACS) or a PC based software (Windrow Manager).
The Windrow Manager software allows you to visualize your compost facility by creating a custom layout with temperatures, scheduled tasks and other data displayed on top of each windrow.
WebMACS system is a low cost data logging and control system that allows you to use any device with internet access to communicate with your composting facility.
OXYGEN & TEMPERATURE PROBES
Oxygen is one of the most important indicators of compost pile health. It can rapidly deplete if a pile is not aerated or does not have adequate porosity. The GMT Oxygen and Temperature, or OT Probe provides real time oxygen readings for your compost operation. The probe simultaneously measures temperature and oxygen at the tip of the probe. The air sample is pulled through the probe stem using a hand pump as shown in the photo below. The rocker switch on top of the case switches the LCD display between the oxygen or temperature readings.

GMT’s 36-48″ Temperature Probes are made from heavy duty stainless steel and are strong enough to withstand use in commercial composting facilities. They are equipped with an adjustable bi-metal helix mechanism so you can calibrate your probes to ensure accuracy.
